Rave 911 Suite

A set of solutions and functionality that provides 9-1-1 telecommunicators and first responders powerful capabilities for handling, dispatching, and responding to emergency calls more efficiently and effectively with location data, Smart911, live video streaming, georeferenced floor plans, and text-from-911 capabilities. 

Smart911 safety profiles, for those that have voluntarily signed up, will appear on screen with critical information such as name, address, family members in the household, photos, medical conditions and more. Additionally, call takers can record notes about incoming calls, track the frequency of calls from a phone number, and access an expanded view that displays both prior tickets and notes available. 

Smart911 allows the community to create a safety profile/account that will provide call takers with important details about themselves should they have to call 9-1-1. Filling out a profile allows for faster, more accurate dispatch and drastically reduces response times. 

Yes, this capability is critical in situations where a caller can not speak or may be deaf or hard of hearing, allowing call takers to have an open line of communication even in the most difficult situations. This capability also helps eliminate long hours and dropped calls with a lack of resolution, while also proving valuable at times of high-call volume. 

Precise location information is one of the most effective and efficient tolls a 9-1-1 center can have, and also is one of the simplest. With Rave, any call taker or first responder can initiate a chat to request location with one click via a web link.  

By overlaying geo-referenced floor plans directly on a map, Rave helps prevent first responders from entering a facility blind and allows 9-1-1 to more effectively plan a response. Critical details like room information, floor layouts, exit points and location of critical structures is all available within the Rave911 suite – helping drive decisions and response. 

Through Rave, anyone in the field with a smartphone can initiate a live video stream – whether the caller, a bystander, or first responder. With a single click, those on-site can send video to telecommunicators or responders en route to the scene. Video comes through the Rave system in real-time, visually showing what is happening on-site and also opening up two-way audio communication for greater and faster insight. Video is encrypted by industry standard practices allowing public safety to always be in control of the session.
