Where did the Idea of AppArmor Come From? 

While attending his alma mater, co-founder, Dave Sinkinson completed an audit of the emergency blue-light poles on the college campus. When they found that a considerable number of the poles were broken, they realized that this was giving students a potentially false sense of security.
